bp Oman has signed agreements with 11 Omani organisations to deliver the 12th cycle of its Block 61 Social Investment Programme, with initiatives focused on education, technology, entrepreneurship, sustainability, community development and inclusion. The programmes are being developed in collaboration with Omani-owned organisations and are aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
The new cycle includes initiatives supporting childrenโs reading, graduate skills development, 3D printing and emerging technologies, water conservation, coding, SME development, youth entrepreneurship, girls in technology, school-bus safety, startups and inclusive sports. bp Oman says its programme has reached more than 290,000 people across Oman since 2014
