Omanโs total oil production rose 11.3% year-on-year to 233.8 million barrels during JanuaryโJuly 2026, up from 210.12 million barrels during the same period last year.
Average daily production also increased to more than 1.1 million barrels per day, compared with 991,100 bpd in 2025. However, oil exports grew more moderately by 1.8% to 181.93 million barrels.
Higher production and stronger energy prices lifted Omanโs hydrocarbon export value by 16.5% to RO 8.627 billion in the first half of 2026. LNG exports recorded particularly strong growth of 40.4%, reaching RO 1.421 billion.
Omanโs crude oil also averaged US$83.9 per barrel, compared with US$72.5 a year earlier, supporting higher government revenues and strengthening the fiscal position.
The stronger energy performance is expected to support Omanโs economic growth while the country continues its broader economic diversification strategy under Oman Vision 2040.
