Omanโs Al AnsabโAl Jifnain road dualisation project has reached 90.17% completion, marking a major step toward improving connectivity across Muscat Governorate.
The approximately 15-km project runs from Falaj Al Sham in Bausher to the Al RusaylโBidbid Road intersection in Al Jifnain, Seeb. The upgraded route will feature three lanes in each direction, increasing capacity and helping ease congestion.
The project also includes converting three existing roundabouts into multi-level interchanges with bridges and tunnels, along with four new intersections and improvements to parallel service roads.
Drainage channels and climate-resilience measures are also being incorporated, supported by traffic, geological, hydrological and topographical studies.
Once completed, the project is expected to reduce journey times, improve logistics efficiency and strengthen access to residential, industrial and service areas, supporting Muscatโs continued urban and economic growth.
