𝐎𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐰𝐚 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐨

Oman participated in the 11th World Conference on Fatwa, held in Cairo, bringing together scholars, academics, researchers, experts and muftis from around the world. Oman was represented by the Office of the Grand Mufti, with its delegation led by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud Al Siyabi, Secretary-General of the Office of Ifta.

This year’s conference focused on “Family challenges amid major transformations”, examining how religious guidance can help protect the family and preserve its Islamic identity amid rapid social, economic and technological changes.

Speaking at the conference, Al Siyabi highlighted the challenges facing Muslim families and stressed the importance of increasing awareness of Islamic jurisprudence and strengthening values that contribute to family stability, identity and social cohesion.

Oman’s participation reflects its continued engagement in international religious and intellectual dialogue, while supporting the exchange of experiences and perspectives on issues affecting Arab and Islamic societies.
