Oman Oil Marketing Company and the Youth Center have launched the fourth edition of TMAKON, a programme designed to equip young Omanis with the skills and practical experience needed to enter and grow within the freelance economy. Around 400 young people registered for the latest edition.
The programme covers 15 fields, ranging from design, photography, marketing and media to technology and AI, engineering, entrepreneurship, finance, tourism, crafts, culinary ventures and electronic gaming.
TMAKON follows a three-stage journey, moving participants from training and skills development to launching freelance careers and practical empowerment. The programme will conclude with an exhibition showcasing participantsโ strongest projects and achievements.
The initiative reflects growing interest among young Omanis in independent career paths while creating opportunities to turn skills and creativity into sustainable professional ventures.
